Mythology- What does it mean when you see a wolf get hit?

I just saw a dog, wolf,( idk it looked like it had a collar though) get hit by two cars, while i was just sittin there at a stop light. The first car hit it and the head was like moving around back and fourth crazy while the rest of its body was smashed into the ground and what not. The second car killed it. The smell was so nasty!!! I've never seen anything like that before. I feel like I couldve done something like honked or whatever, but idk it was reallly freakin weird, I hope its not a sign...ya digg
