Was the problem with Pittsburgh ?

Yes I think it was. Recchi wanted to play as a top six foward. Pittsburgh didn't want to oblige because they have younger guys they want to play. It's not like he didn't have chances to put up points in Pittsburgh. But, Therrien juggles lines like he's still coaching in the AHL, never letting players gel together. I think they need a coaching change. Therrien cannot get these guys motivated to play on a cosistent basis. Losing Fleury for 2 months could be the end of their season. He was really starting to play well. The players seem to have lost confidence in his system. Most of this team IS struggling, but Roberts is not expected to put up points like Recchi was. Roberts is doing his job right now. They also did not trade Recchi, they put him on waivers so they didn't get anything in return. It is actually going to cost them. For someone to say the problem is with Crosby being a Captain, he was basically a Captain last year. They just choose to go with 3 A's because Crosby turned down the captaincy when it was offered to him. He was still the leader of the team last year.
