Friend needs a ride to pick up a family member(emergency), but I am exhausted?

I agree with both of the above. By the time you got on the computer and wrote this, you could have been halfway there. Since she is a friend you should do it. You would expect her to do the same for you if roles were reversed wouldn't you?
