How do I fix the jerky opening of the sunroof on my 2003 Chevy Malibu?

Sounds like a contactor problem prolly in the switch, it happens alot in sun roofs. I would check that first, condensation causes the switch to no make a full connection. I just replaced the on on a 2002 for escape that was doing the same thing and it's fixed.
