Need Some Advice..This Questions For All Ladies...Period Cycle...?

SoI am on my menstration cycle (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and I noticed it really stinks down there..when I go for a pee I can really smell it. It doesnt look all red either..its kinda brown in some parts too and smily abit too in parts of the blood. Is this normal. I never noticed it smelling that bad..What is it supposed to look like on your pad? Also the slime I get on my pad is brown sometimes abit. I feel so dirty, Is this normal? Also what can I use to clean up there? Does it clean itself after the cycle (eg. run out of your ). A douche maybe or is that for after you have only? Is the coloration normal?
