Christians, do you do this?

That sounds more like meditation, however, it is not in any way sinful. If you as a Christian would like to use this method as a way to make yourself feel closer to Heaven, then by all means you may go ahead and do it. I am sure that many Christians use prayer instead of recordings to spiritually uplift themselves. If you find recordings to gain inner peace it would make sense because peace is really important in Christianity.
