Listen to rock music?

im 14 and am a girl and no one my age listens to my music. they all listen to utter **** and whenever i mention what music i listen to people just look at me strangely. i know that my music is great and amazing and that theres is crap but i was just wondering does anyone else listen to this type of music which i listen to. i listen to rock and roll and mostly psychedelic rock. im into velvet underground, brian jonestown macre, david bowie, lou reed, rolling stones, elliott smith, echo and the bunnymen, morrissey, the doors, radio head, pixies, muse, pink floyd, mars volta, cream, small faces, iggy pop, jethro tull, johnny thunders, new york dolls, interpol, joy division...etc... does anyone else listen to such stuff and how old are you? x
