Help my teacher has shingles! ?

Hey, my teacher has shingles, i have a speaking exam next monday and she emailed my teacher information about it today, so do u think she plans on being there? Im really worried and upset, will she be off school for a long time? Shes my favourite teacher, its a bad thing to have isnt it? Should i make her a card?? I dont know how to cope, what do i do? She came into school today but then went home, she wouldnt have come in if she was contagious? Help :'(
